Thondekayi(tindora) - 1/4Kg
Garlic - 5 cloves
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Few Curry leaves
Red chilli powder - 1tsp
Jaggery - 2tsp
Oil - 1tblsp
Salt to taste
1)Cut thondekayi into 2 pieces and lightly punch with back of your knife.
2)Heat oil in a pan and add mustard and curry leaves.
3)When mustard starts spluttering add garlic and fry for 2 min.
4)Then add thondekayi and let it cook in medium low heat for 10min.Do not add water.Stir in between.
5)When thondekati is cooked add salt,turmeric,jaggery,red chilli powder and mix well.Cook for another 3 mins.
6)Turn off the heat and serve with hot rice or roti.
