Sarson Ka Saag





INGREDIENTS:

Mustard greens 1 bunch

Spinach 1/2 bunch
Tomato 1 big chopped finely
Cumin seeds 1tsp
Ginger 2" minced
Green chillies 2 minced
Onion 1 large chopped finely
Garlic 4 cloves minced
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
Butter 1tblsp
Salt to taste



METHOD:

1)Wash mustard green and spinach.


2)In a pan boil mustard,spinach and green chillies.Remove excess water and blend.

3)Heat butter in a pan and add cumin seeds when it splutters add ginger and garlic saute until it is light brown.

4)Then add onion and fry until transparent.Add tomato and cook for 3mins.

5)To this mixture add turmeric,coriander,salt and chilli powder and cook for 2 mins.

6)Then add the blended mixture and garam masala cook for another 2 mins.

7)Serve hot with roti.
