RAVA IDLY



















INGREDIENTS:

Sooji/rava 1 cup
Mustard seeds 1tsp
Ginger grated 1/2tsp
Green chilies 2 finely chopped
Baking Soda 1/4tsp
Carrot grated 1/2 cup
Cashews 1Tblsp
Coriander leaves 3 strands finely chopped
Grated coconut 1tblsp
Turmeric 1/4tsp
1cup yogurt/curd
1 Tblsp Oil
Salt


METHOD:

1)Heat oil and add mustard seeds when they start popping add ginger, green chilies and fry for sometime.

2)Then add rava and roast for 5 mins.

3)Switch off the heat and let the mixture cool for 5 mins.

4)Add all other ingredients except cashew. Leave it for around 30mins.

5)Grease the Idly stand with ghee and keep a cashew and put drop the mixture in each stand.

6)Steam cook for around 15mins.Once you turn off the heat,let it sit for 5 mins.Serve hot.
